I am a student, a professional, a woman, a girlfriend, a best friend, a daughter, an aunt, a person. I have lived the first part of my life waiting for things to happen and hoping for things to work out the way I want them to. I have since changed my view on life as a whole. Life is so short to wait for things. If you want something do it, it’ll work out and if it’s doesn’t happen I will know that I have tried.

I am also a young woman living with Chronic Severe GERD. GERD has uprooted my life and made me reevaluate everything I do.

This blog will be dedicated to my journey in life, living with GERD and how I navigate it all.

I don’t want to get to the end of my life and wish I had done things differently and wonder how things could have been. I don’t have any regrets. Everything I have gone through has made me the person I need to be to deal with today. You can either dwell on the past and feel stuck or in limbo or you can push forward and get yourself to where you WANT to be.

I’m not a doctor or medical professional, these are just my stories.
